For fifteen years I have furnished other people's homes, and kept a running list of the pieces I reach for again and again. This shop is that list.

Every lamp, every chair and table, every rug and pillow, every framed canvas was chosen one at a time, for a real room and a real budget, by someone who had to live with the decision. Nothing here is filling out a category.

If there is one material I return to more than any other, it is travertine — stone with a memory, quarried in layers, no two pieces alike.
