The Larkspur is one of my favorite quiet-statement pieces — low and long, it works beautifully behind a sofa, along an entry wall, or as an alternative TV console. The washed oak keeps it soft and warm, while the slim brass posts running between the two shelves give it a light, almost floating quality. I like styling the top shelf with a low sculptural object or a stack of art books and leaving the lower shelf simpler, so the piece keeps its clean, architectural silhouette.
